Project Description: 

The Station to Station Business Improvement District was voted in by a ballot held on 27 July 2016. Over 75% of businesses who voted said yes to a BID. The BID is funded and run by local businesses, with a small part time team managing its projects. It will invest more than £700,000 into the local area over the five year term. Key to the BID’s success will be its ability to attract additional funding from external bodies.

The theme groups focus on raising the profile of the area, public realm and growing your business.

Among Station to Station’s priorities are joining up the various parts of the town centre better, and bringing in employment opportunities which in turn will mean an increase in day time trade for small businesses.
